The MAC Tournament champion Bobcats, who had a losing record in conference play, have found their way in the only month that matters and now boast an NCAA Tournament win for the first time in 27 years.
Armon Bassett scored 32 points to lead the 14th-seeded Bobcats to a convincing 97-83 win over Georgetown in the Midwest Regional
Ohio seized the lead early on its 3-point shooting and never had a serious letdown the rest of the way.
Georgetown made a small run in the second half that cut a 19-point lead down to seven.

Below, are Cosmo’s reasons you should date a guy you think is nerdy.
~~ He’s capable of memorizing every line of Star Wars and Lord of the Rings so he shouldn’t have trouble remembering your birthday and favorite kind of flowers.
~~ Sure, he may secretly want to get it on with his super hot neighbor, but knowing that you’re the hottest girl he’s ever been with will probably keep him from cheating.
~~ Geeks tend to be tech-savvy. Which means not only will he be able to fix a computer problem and upgrade your software, but he’ll actually enjoy doing it.
~~ Although the dumb jock thing is a total cliche, you’re unlikely to meet a dorky guy who can’t string together a sentence and carry on an intelligent conversation.
~~ Since he’s supersmart and probably already making a ton of money, he won’t think being a roadie for Vampire Weekend is a great “career opportunity.”
~~ He was probably bullied during high school so he’ll be sympathetic when you vent about the office bully…and help you plot a plan to bring her down.
~~ He’ll never hog the bathroom while he’s manscaping.

LeBron James completed a dominating fourth-quarter stretch for the Cavaliers by splitting the Pacers for a short bank shot for two points in the final minutes of Wednesday’s game at The Q
St.Patty Day Parade Was HUGE this Year!
The sun came out on Wednesday and so did Greater Cleveland, forming a river of green for the largest St. Patrick’s Day Parade ever to march through town.
A record 13,500 marchers in 213 units joined the 143rd edition.
At about 1:10 p.m., Grand Marshall John Hayes , an 84-year-old Irish immigrant, blew a golden whistle and began the march toward Public Square. Twenty of his children and grandchildren followed his slow-moving car. A Goodyear blimp lolled overhead, above a crowd estimated by parade organizers at 400,000, on par with last year.

March 17th, 2010 by q104mornings-wqalThe 143rd annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade kicks off at 1:05 p.m. from East 18th and Superior Avenue in downtown Cleveland. “Famous Irish Past Times” is this year’s parade theme.
